| Details | This is the first release "The Sound of Music" British Quad film poster with printing by Stafford & Co. Ltd of Nottingham from 1965. The colours are delightful and this CinemaScope film poster is highly desirable featuring the Von Trapp family with the children dressed in clothes made from the curtains enjoying life to the full in Austria. Julie Andrews is quite rightly pictured as the central image in this happy full colour film poster printed in England. This British quad has just three vertical fold lines, minor creasing with two very small restored corner tips at the bottom and a slight paper snag at the very bottom centre border which we have repaired with archival restoration tape. There is a little growing to the reverse at the top right corner which shows through a little to the front but is hardly noticeable due to the design of the poster. |
