| Details | This cinema used poster came directly from the Ritz cinema. This is the United Artists Original first release British Quad for the John Sturges film "The Great Escape" starring Steve McQueen from 1963 based on the book by Paul Brickhill. This folded film poster has multiple pinholes at the top left, top right and top centre, together with some more at the bottom right, bottom centre and bottom left. There is a one inch border tear to the left near the middle which we have repaired with restoration tape. If you look very carefully under the letter "E" you can see very faintly where the title has been written in blue biro to the reverse and left a slight imprint. There is minor edge wear at the bottom righted on the bottom left corner tip as seen. Printed by Stafford & Co. of Netherfield, Nottingham & London. Great paper quality and vibrant colours. |
