The film won 'Best Picture' Oscar with Jack Nicholson also winning an Oscar for his role as McMurphy the free spirit at loose in a state mental home, Louise Fletcher as ward nurse Mildred Ratched intent on an oppressive role also winning an Oscar (as did the Director and the screenplay) while among the patients pictured are the almost unknowns of the time including Danny DeVito as Martini, Brad Dourif as Billy Bibbit and Christopher Lloyd as Taber. Fantastic litho printed cinema cards for one of the best films ever made. |
