| Details | This is the first release British quad film poster from 1956 with artwork by the accomplished Italian artist Angelo Cesselon. A Virginia McKenna is painted as one of the women marched across Malaya by the invading Japanese. The BBC were later to produce the PoW drama 'Tenko' employing some of the cast. The Rank organisation who presented this film were instrumental through their overseas connections in giving opportunities to many Italian artists whose great talents would grace many a British film poster. |
