Details | This interesting rolled condition British quad dates from 1957 featuring Joanne Woodward in three different guises as the star "Eve". This Oscar winning performance portrays Woodward as a young wife in the roles of "insecure housewife", "good-time partner" and "educated woman". In the early 50's most were unaware of the female ability to "multitask" and such attributes sometimes led to a trip to the psychiatrist as in this case where the three personalities were attempted to be blended into one. Interesting as a reflection on 50's morals the design of the poster itself resembles a changing screen which somehow implies hiding behind rather than appreciating different aspects of a personality. "A moment ago she was the nicest girl in town... A moment from now she will be anybody's pick-up!" - a sensationalist tagline from the 50's. |
