| Details | Fine British quad with printing by the Electric (Modern) Printing Co. Ltd. Manchester 8. John Wayne is painted here playing the part of Thomas Dunson, a challenging role well beyond his own years and successfully undertaken playing the ageing figure of determined, stubborn quality especially when wrong which seems to be most of the time. The photo at the bottom right is of Montgomery Clift in his first film role together with the strong willed Joanne Dru. This quad is a 1952 rerelease and features a handwritten programme notice at the top as seen. |
